What is PF Debate?
Public Forum Debate is a 2 v 2 debate where teams affirm or negate the resolution (topic). Unlike other debate forms, Public Forum is designed so that debaters must convince ordinary people. As a result, not only do debaters have to be smart and diligent, but they must communicate in a way accessible to the general public.
Past topics include:
Resolved: The United States should end its arms sales to Saudi Arabia.
Resolved: The United States should replace means-tested welfare programs with a universal basic income.
Resolved The United States should require universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers of ownership.
