Virginia Debate Academy was founded in 2015 and offers summer camps and various group/individual packages at affordable rates to help students succeed in competitive debate. VDA has worked with students and coaches from over fifty-five schools in the state of Virginia, including nationally ranked middle schools and high schools.

• VDA faculty has coached over 300 students in Virginia, including building or supporting debate programs in northern Virginia. Some of our teachers have also taught at national debate camps such as the Harvard Institute.

• VDA teachers attend or hold degrees from schools such as Duke University, University of Virginia, and the College of William and Mary. Our instructors won regional, state, and national championships during their respective High School debate and coaching careers. VDA faculty members also bring private sector experience to the classroom.

• VDA students have won Middle School National championships, High School State championships, Varsity WACFL Metro-Finals, and competed in elimination rounds at prestigious tournaments such as the NSDA and NCFL National championship tournaments, Pennsbury National Invitational, Harvard National Invitational, and more.
