Programs Offered:

2D Game Development (ages 8 to 12): Students learn how to build and design their own 2D games like Pac-Man style or Mario style video games. With a kids-friendly program, students learn the programming logic in a fun way.

3D Game Development (ages 12 to 18): This class tackles a more advanced level of computer programing and game design. Students will learn advanced techniques to make 3D games using Unity 3D.

Web Design and Publishing  (ages 10 to 18): Students learn available tools to create, build and publish their own websites.  Related topics like online privacy and safety precautions are discussed as well.

Robotics (ages 8 to 12): This program focuses on programming and robotics. Students learn how to create and program their own robots. The students are put in groups of two to four and work on building the robot as well as programming its own functions. Lego Mindstorms is used for this class.

English Writing (ages 9-14): The English Writing program involves reading, composition of essays, journal entries, discussions/critiquing and outreach research. The course helps refine grammar, expand vocabulary, and improves public speaking skills, reading comprehension and writing skills.

Arduino Circuitry (ages 10-16): In this course students will learn about coding functional hardware. They will learn basic electrical engineering, properties of electricity and circuitry, and all sorts of interesting functions you can do with your Arduino kit. The course culminates with students building their own "Penny Piano" which uses capacitive touch to create a working mini-piano.

Fun Coding (ages 8-16): Start with fun coding project based learning and prepare your kids for the high demand of coding and programming skills in the job market. In this class, a few popular programming tools are introduced, including Scratch, MIT APP Inventor and Python Programming.  Students are instructed to choose a tool to use and a project to work on, and carry it out throughout the class sessions.
